Wholesale privacy notice

This notice covers the wholesale sign-up form and online ordering on wholesale.mushroommicrofarm.com, run by Mushroom Microfarm. For our online store and everything else, see our main privacy policy.
What the sign-up form collects
- Your business's name, address, phone number, website, what kind of business it is, and what you'd like to buy.
- The contact person's name, role, email, phone number, and the best way to reach them.
- Whether you have a resale certificate, and which state issued it.
- How you found us, and anything you write in the notes.
We don't ask for certificate numbers, tax ID numbers, or payment details on this form, and we don't accept file uploads.
Why we collect it
To consider your request, to set up a wholesale account if we can work together, and to contact you about it.
The bot check
Cloudflare hosts this form. It runs Turnstile, a check that tells people apart from automated spam by looking at signals from your browser and device. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that check. This site uses no analytics or advertising. Its only cookie of its own is the sign-in cookie below, for buyers we've invited to order.
To stop abuse, the site counts how many requests come from each internet address for up to a day. It keeps only a scrambled form of the address, never the address itself.
If we invite you to order online
- Your login. Your email and password are scrambled on your own device before anything is sent, so this website never sees or stores either one. It keeps only a further scrambled form, which it uses to recognise you when you sign in.
- Your prices and orders. So the page can show you, this website holds a random number standing for your login, the products and prices on your list, and your recent orders. Nothing on the site says who that number belongs to: no business or contact names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.
- What you order. The website holds an order, with any note you write on it, until our own private records system has collected it, normally within a day.
- Sign-in cookie. Signing in sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days or until you sign out. It's used only for that, and is the only cookie this site sets. The bot check above also runs when you sign in.
We don't take payment details on this site. Orders are invoiced after delivery, on your usual terms.
How long we keep it
- Your request or order is deleted from this website as soon as our own private records system has received it, normally within a day, and after 30 days at the most.
- Your login, prices, and order history leave this website when we turn your login off. Sign-ins end when you sign out, and after 30 days at the most.
- An order we confirm stays in our account records like any other order. If we decline one, we erase what it said 30 days after we decide.
- If we don't open an account for you, we erase the details of your request 30 days after we decide.
- If we do open an account, your business details stay in our account records while we do business, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our records.
Who sees it
Only Mushroom Microfarm. We never sell your details or use them for advertising, and we share them only with the service provider that runs this site (Cloudflare).
